McConville Considine Cooman & Morin, PC is pleased to announce that Partners Kevin S. Cooman and Lucien A. Morin, II  have been chosen for inclusion in the 2016 Upstate New York Super Lawyers^® list, while Associate Peter J. Gregory has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star^® for the fourth consecutive year.  Super Lawyers^® is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement, as determined by a rigorous selection process.  Only five percent of the attorneys in New York each year are named to the Super Lawyers^® list and fewer than 2.5 percent are named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars^® list.

For over 35 years, Kevin has engaged in a broad-based civil litigation practice, handling cases from intake through full appellate practice before the highest courts in New York State and the federal court system. These cases include precedent-setting litigation in the fields of: general contract and commercial claims, health care, trademark, civil rights, Freedom of Information entitlements, personal injury, employment discrimination, securities and consumer fraud, tax, banking, education, and construction. He has been honored with recognition in The Best Lawyers in America^® and in November 2013 achieved "Lawyer of the Year" recognition as a Leader in Law by The Daily Record.  Kevin is also AV^® Preeminent peer review-rated by Martindale Hubbell.

Lou is recognized as one of the foremost attorneys in Western New York with respect to real estate and bankruptcy matters.  A frequent guest lecturer to bar association and realtor groups, Lou has also served on committees which have revised and improved the standard forms used by realtors and attorneys for residential real estate transactions.  Lou also maintains an active bankruptcy and workout practice, and serves as a Chapter 7 trustee for the federal Western District of New York bankruptcy court. He has been honored with recognition in The Best Lawyers in America^®, and was named a 2012 Leader in Law by The Daily Record.

Peter represents individuals, businesses and other organizations while focusing his practice on a wide range of civil litigation matters including general tort law, collections, and complex commercial and business litigation. He also represents clients in Western New York who have been injured or have lost loved ones in accidents caused by the carelessness and recklessness of others.
