Peter Weishaar Named to The Daily Record's Power 20 List for Personal Injury

We are pleased to announce that our Managing Partner, Peter J. Weishaar was selected by the editorial staff of The Daily Record as one of Rochester’s power players in the legal industry for its Power 20 List for Personal Injury.
“When I joined the firm as a young litigation attorney more than 25 years ago, I was lucky to be exposed to a wide variety of cases in state and federal court right away. Over time, my practice evolved, but it has always included personal injury cases. In fact, the very first case I ever had was a premises liability case involving a little boy who fell through a wide-open stairwell in an elementary school.”
Over the years, Peter has successfully handled personal injury cases in a number of areas, including:

- Pedestrian Accidents;
- Premises Liability; and
- Wrongful Death Cases.
Peter’s most recent personal injury case was settled on behalf of our client—a pedestrian who suffered a fractured wrist after being struck by defendant’s pick-up truck. Peter was able to utilize plaintiff’s available SUM coverage, which resulted in a settlement that was three times the amount of defendant’s available insurance.
Peter has earned the AV Preeminent peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been selected to the Upstate New York Super Lawyers List. In 2015, he received The Daily Record’s Attorneys of the Year Leader in Law Award.
