Since
its inception in 1979, McConville, Considine, Cooman
& Morin has represented clients seriously injured by
the negligence or intentional misconduct of others. Our
compassionate and personal representation of our clients
sets us apart from other personal injury firms which
often have volume-based, impersonal practices. Our
smaller case volume allows us to provide individual
attention to each client.
We
realize that with the inundation of personal injury
advertising it is often difficult to choose the right
attorney. Retaining an attorney in a personal injury
matter is often the beginning of a long-term
relationship so both the client and attorney should be
comfortable with one another. Talk with other firms and
then come and meet with us. You will feel the
difference.
Many
personal injury firms claim that they focus
"exclusively on personal injury cases." In our
view, this narrowness of focus and expertise may
restrict a firm's ability to serve a client well.
Serious injuries often result in major changes in
personal circumstances and force clients to deal with
legal issues such as employment problems, disruption of
a business, financial crisis including the need for tax
planning or bankruptcy, as well as life care, retraining
and estate planning issues. Because McConville,
Considine is a full service law firm, our personal
injury clients have immediate access not just to the
trial lawyers handling the personal injury claim, but
also to the business, personal, estate and financial
planning attorneys who can best address the other
problems caused by the injury.
Our
offices are located in the Historic Talman Building, a
five story office building owned by the firm and located
in downtown Rochester, New York. The building's historic
significance relates to its age (built circa 1840) and
to its prior occupants. From 1847 through 1863 Frederick
Douglass had his office and published his newspapers in
the building; Harriet Jacobs's anti-slavery reading room
was located in the building; and the building was a stop
on the Underground Railroad. We are located within a
several minute walk to the state and federal courthouses
and our location ideally suits us to serve clients in
Rochester, Monroe County and all of the surrounding
counties throughout Western New York.
If you
or someone you know has been seriously injured due to
the negligence of others, we encourage you to speak with
a lawyer. We welcome your phone calls or
e-mails.
